Blossom's prenatal teacher training was nothing short of amazing. Hillary and Jeanna have years of experience in the birthing and yoga world. Together bring a wealth of knowledge, and they also invite experts along the way who specialize in areas like nutrition, the psychology of birthing, and more. After the training, I felt completely confident in my ability to teach prenatal and mommy baby yoga. Highly recommend!
I love taking prenatal yoga classes with Jeanna and Hillary! They are both so experienced and knowledgable when it comes to yoga, pregnancy, anatomy, birth, and parenting. I always feel so welcome in their classes, and love that they build community, and also help me to connect with my baby on the inside, while taking care of myself. I know that I can come to class, and they can meet me where I am that day, helping me to modify and adjust as needed. You can enjoy their classes if you’re newer to yoga, as well as if you’re an experienced yogini. Class is not just a “gentle yoga” or “just a bunch of stretching.” It is yoga that is designed for the pregnant body and mind. We stretch and strengthen, and I always leave feeling relaxed. Every class comes with some tips and tricks for coping with labor, too.
I thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from the comprehensive Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training that Lotus Blossom offered! Jeanna and Hillary shared a wealth of experience and knowledge covering a variety of relevant topics. They work so well as a team! The enthusiasm and passion they brought to each session were so inspirational for me. They modeled for us how to teach what you love; and their differences in delivery and areas of expertise are a perfect complement for a thought-provoking, successful, well-rounded program! ”They designed the program to give us the opportunity to complete more than the 100 hours required for the Yoga Alliance Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher credential. I learned so much and felt confident and excited to begin teaching prenatal and mom and baby yoga classes right away. Jeanna and Hillary were so supportive and personally invested in my success. They were generous with the time they offered me for one-on-one mentoring and support. In addition, they sincerely cared not only about the content and logistics of the scheduled sessions, but also our well-being and even provided printed recommendations of places to eat in the area during our breaks. The Lotus Blossom curriculum is the real deal- everything was relevant and transferred directly to my immediate teaching opportunities. The partnership with Blossom Birth Services, the provider of the studio space, is ideal since we were able to interact with many pre- and post- natal moms and dads along the way!
I am so happy that I came to Lotus Blossom for my Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training with Hillary and Jeanna. They are both such inspirational teachers and yogis, and I felt sohonored to learn from their decades of experience as RPYTs. I live in the East Bay, and so I appreciated the easy schedule of the training that accommodated my commute perfectly. The content they cover is thorough and thoughtful, and I learned so much more than I ever expected. I took the training because I was hopeful to become pregnant and wanted to know how to modify my own practice, but once I startedwatching Hillary and Jeanna in action with their students, I just completely fell in love with the sacred space Prenatal Yoga Classes provides for practitioners. I would highly recommend this training to anyone considering it!
I can't recommend Lotus Blossom highly enough. As a yoga teacher, it gave me an in-depth understanding of how to use yoga safely and effectively during and after pregnancy. I ended the training with all the knowledgeand confidence I need to guide pre- and postpartum moms through any yoga class. As a pregnant mom at the time of the training, it offered invaluable information about childbirth and using yoga and mindfulness duringlabor. The training truly enriched my experience of my pregnancy and birth.
